Why not join Meningitis Research Foundation members Ian & Irene Wardrop who organise this fantastic weekend every year. It started from very small beginnings nine years ago with 10 friends.
Last year on our last trip to Glencoe we saw over 100 people enjoying a weekend of walking and socialising - just look at the pictures in the photo gallery!

Meningitis Research Foundation
Meningitis Research Foundation is an international charity at the forefront of fighting death and disability resulting from meningitis and septicaemia. Meningitis Research Foundation relies on charitable donations to continue this important work.

The Ben Lawers Range consists of seven Munros.  Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers can be reached from The National Trust for Scotland Visitor Centre.   It is possible to add An Stuc or to include it with the easterly Lawers Munros, Meall Greigh and Meall Garbh.   They can be approached from the village of Lawers on the A827 on north shore of Loch Tay, but parking is a problem here. One resident in Lawers charges a fairly high price for the privilege of parking near the access route at the start of the walk. Even so he only has a limited number of parking spaces.

The other two Munros of this group, Meall Corranaich and Meall a'Choire Leith can be climbed from the north end of Lochan na Lairige as can the Corbett Meall nam Maigheach.

On the opposite side of the road from The National Trust for Scotland Visitor Centre and above the village of Killin is the Munro Meall nan Tarmachan a superb mountain with its narrow westerly ridge giving access to its Munro Tops. To the north is the Corbett Beinn nan Oighreag.
